I'm sold! Netvibes.com is very nice. I imported my old rss feeds from Google Reader and they just worked. I keep it in "Reader Mode" as opposed to the "Widgets Mode", and it works wonderfully!
This morning I loaded Netvibes to read my feeds and was presented with a prompt for a name and password to get into the nvdev.com site... Hmmmm....
A little research showed that it was most likely a problem with the theme I had selected, so I picked a new theme and the problem vanished. Apparently the developer for the theme I was using withdrew it from public use. Ah well. There are hundreds to pick from, so no biggie. :)
