DC Earthquake: Powerful tremor shakes region
I felt it very strongly - I was sitting on the sofa watching TV on my lunch break and the house shook, the whole house rumbled and light things were shaken around, a few things ended up on the floor, but nothing broke. Pictures went crooked on the walls, etc.
Scary stuff. Likely it was quite a bit scarier for my friends in VA.
