OK, I'm at a crossroads without a map.

Blogger is going to stop supporting ftp-published blogs on May 1, and so I need to find another front-end for my blog.

I need something that is NOT installed on my host server, uses simple HTML pages, no SQL, archives posts by date into monthly html files, allows me to publish via ftp.

Blogger was excellent for this, but now they have decided that they want all of their user's content on their own servers, so they no longer support remote publishing. Way to screw over your userbase, Google. Do no evil, eh?
