UPDATED Strike Chart: How Long Before Your Shows Go Dark?
The Writer's strike means that there are only a few episodes of most shows left to go before they run out.
A more important bit of news is that the show-runners - the people that actually assist in the making of the shows - also went on strike, and were instantly fired by the studios. So even if they had the scripts ready to go, they can't make the shows now.
Whatever episodes have been made and are ready to go are all that are left. The listing above only counts the episodes that they have ready to make, not made already.
So most TV could be in reruns as soon as next week.
