YAY! Maggie's bloodwork came back very nearly perfect. All of the liver enzyme values are normal except for the one that is high - and it came back at around half the value the regular vet's lab said it was. There may be a lab-issue here. We'll check it in 3 months using BOTH labs to double-check.
So she is doing well and he said there is no reason to worry about her - she should be fine, long-term.

The one that is high is considered normal at 118, and her value was 196, but he said the cause for concern was if it jumped by 1000 or more pts - that would be bad. Over the last few months it went from 100 to 200 to 300 to nearly 400, but this test came back at around 200. Interesting. (The enzyme being tested is one that damaged liver cells give off when they die.)
