Wow - it sleeted all night, and we had freezing rain all morning, until now there is a good 4" of SLEET piled up with a 1/4" layer of ice soaked in and frozen. It supports my weight without compressing more than maybe 1/2" unless I purposefully TRY to break through.
It's also very heavy to shovel. I made a walkway to the car, and gave up on clearing it for now - I'll try again in a few hours.
